Cynthia Wigington: Ach du lieber Zeit aber dass is schön!
Yes indeed Cynthia that time is already here again. Christmas comes around once every year, not like when we were kids and it seemed like there was 2 or 3 years between Christmases. LOL
Gordon, well done. I'm glad you took it on. I like the really old carols and this is one of my favorites. Your voice and instrument are a well matched pair.
Lisa, it is indeed a rascal but sometimes we overcome LOL. Thanks for your kind comments. The instrument was built for me by a talented wood worker who lives in Fairview, a little town north of the Peace River in northern Alberta. His name is Reg Davy and he has built about 20 dulcimers over the last 25 years mostly for family members and to donate to school music programs. He says he builds as the spirit moves him. I feel very blest that he built this beautiful instrument especially for me, more or less according to my specifications, of course he incorporated his own artistic license.
You are very welcome Helen, thanks for listening. You too Greg thanks for listening.
Nice job, Gordon!

I do get asked some, Terry, thanks for the compliment.
I so much appreciate your heart felt sentiment Lexie.

Good job there Gordon. I just bet you get asked to play in your church, especially this time of the year.
Gordon, I love these old hymns and your playing and singing of them is just beautiful and you always give me a sense of peace. Thank you again Gordon.
Ben, Bob and Robin, thank you for listening and for your encouragement.
Gordon, you & Bob R have got me wanting to go play this wonderful old carol!

Gordon, I'm always in awe- both dulcimer and voice are simply ...majestic. Love the smile at the end too, with titles!
Tell us again about that amazing instrument.
-That lowest note sure is a rascal though, ain't it? ;D
