Here is my rendition of God Save The Queen and My Country Tis Of Thee played on a baritone mountain dulcimer in response to James' FOTMD June challenge.
Bill, Terry and Helen, thank you so much for listening to my efforts and for you kind comments. It's always fun to respond to James' monthly challenges.
Nice rendition Gordon! BTW I'd never heard God Save the Queen sung, so it was nice to hear it sung. I am assuming that it is the national anthem of the Dominion of Canada?
Hey James, thanks for your comment. God Save the Queen or King (depending on the gender of the Monarch) is the anthem of the Royal Family of UK, I'm not completely sure if it is actually the "British national anthem". The national anthem of Canada is the song "Oh Canada" but we play and sing GSTQ when any of the British royals officially visit us.
