My wife and I are members of "Danse Macabre" at the Original Renaissance Faire now in Irwindale CA. Jeanie was one of the earliest Bones back in Agoura days under Grego Dana the Head Bone. This tune is one of their standard repertoire.
I always like your flair in playing tunes Gregg, and your repertoire choices.
I'm currently learning to play this Bear's Dance on pennywhistle, as a total beginner.
Love the way in which you clearly show what is happening on the fretboard Gregg.......thanks for sharing !

Well, duh, I didn't think of using a 1+ fret for Danse de l'Ours - I just capo at fret 1. Thanks for helping me get out of my set routine and expand my way of thinking about how to play this, Gregg.
Memories - my SoCal Renaissance Faire days were at the old Agoura Hills site. Ran into Neal Hellman up there years ago - we were both in costume, hardly recognizable!
I would love to see you and your wife dance. Nicely played Gregg.
