This is a lovely little Scottish melody from the late 19th Century. My arrangement. Played on a custom Aeolus Dulcimer ( www.aeolusmusic.com ) Sometimes spelled "Fear a' Bhta" or "Fhear a' Bhta" (A motorcycle decided to play a duet with me at the very end LOL).
Thank you, Julie!
Thank you so much, Mary and Cynthia!!!
beautiful.
Thank you so much Jill!!
Lovely arrangement and playing, Guy. This tune has been a favorite of mine for years - ever since my sister played an arrangement by the Irish band Pale, Stout and Amber for me. I learned this on the mandolin after hearing their arrangement (key of F or Dm?) - but hadn't thought of arranging it for the dulcimer. Thanks so much! The Gaelic lyrics are beautiful (and the English lyrics, too )
