Learned this version of Spotted Pony from Robin Thompson a few years back. Depending on how you play this song I may have the "A" and "B" played in a different order. This is played on the General, in DAA
Like everything about this one Jim. It's a good dulcimer tune and you played it well. Excellent noter work. That dulcimer is fantastic! The staple or half frets are nicely done and I love the the wood.
Nice job on this Jim, and I bet you had to work on that one some. Love that (Cox I assume) dulcimer. Poplar I'm guessing? Nice rich sound and I love it plain, not stained.
Thanks, Robin. Can't wait to get the noter/drone camp out going again. It's been too long.
Hey, Jim, Mark & I just listened-- great job playing Spotted Pony! You're making that General sing!
Terry, thanks for listening. The builder of the General is Dan Cox. He's a member here.

Hi Jim
I've listened and watched your video several times now, and I enjoy it more each time. I speck I'll give the noter another go.
I know you wrote it's the "General", but who is the builder of this fine instrument?
Best regards,
Terry
Go Jim! Nicely done!
Thanks Helen.
WOW, Dan. I tried it. What a sweet voice. Guess I'm gonna have to make another video.
When you get a chance Jim, try tuning it to FCC and see if it doesn't ring like a bell! Oh yes, love that tune......:)

Great playing Jim.
Butternut and Poplar, Cynthia. Thanks for listening.
