If you ever get to Ohio's Amish country, arrange a visit to Paul's Timbre Hill shop-- you'll be glad you did!
Last year, at the Harmony Harvest festival in Lancaster OH, Paul played a few of his dulcimers while Mark played guitar. I, with my back turned, listened. The point of the exercise was to discover what I'd want in a dulcimer that would help me match-up volume-wise with Mark's guitar. (Another consideration was my lap size. It's small.) So, I ended-up with Paul's narrow-waisted hourglass with a false bottom. And I love it!
