@Mike-Thurman Mike, the tune's in the key of A. I'm a by-ear player so I've got no tablature. You can probably pick it up by-ear. I'd love to hear your play of the tune sometime!
Thank you for the nice comment. I composed the tune on mountain dulcimer then my husband added a guitar part. I named the tune to honor my husband's grandfathers and others who worked the coal mines in the area where we live.
Beautiful tune and wonderful playing. I'm always impressed with your melodic playfulness and Mark's understated backup.
The chirping birds add a nice touch, though it must have been a midnight shift if they were chirping at quitting time.
Sweet.
Thanks, friends, for your kind comments! Though Mark & I have to live apart most of the time, we still play this tune from time to time.
How lovely! And the little birds are singin' along...
Robin and Mark, that was wonderfully soothing, so smooth, nice.
Thank you for posting this tune very soothing sounds
Nice tune...maybe you could put lyrics to it.
Steven
Thanks. I will give it a try. Sounds pretty straight forward. If I get it, I will send you a sound file.

I would love to learn this song. I can probably pick it up by ear, but do you have the Tab? What Key is it in?

Beautiful song. I've never heard it before. Can you tell us more about it?
