Boil them cabbage down

musician/member name:
Duration: 00:00:22
My son has taken a real interest in playing. Any suggestions on fun, easy tunes I can teach him? He's currently working on Boil them Cabbage, Mary had a little lamb, and Pretty Betty Martin.

Hey that was great! I must have missed this video. I love to see kids take interest in music. I've heard my 8 year old daughter play Boil Them Cabbage on her fiddle about a million times now and I still love it!! Grin.gif

That's great! One of the first ones my daughter learned was Little Liza Jane (otherwise known as 201020102424). Go Tell Aunt Rhody should probably also be one of the first. I hope you guys have lots of fun together. My daughter prefers the piano these days. ("It's easy, dad, you just push a button and you get a nice sound automatically!")

Thanks all for the many suggestions. I' really appreciate it. It's funny how we know these songs but just can't think of them when we need them.
