Aww...I greatly appreciate that Strumelia! That's my garage-turned-temporary-cottage up north. One day I hope to build on the property. My dog, Toffee...she's my heart. I just wish she didn't have such a strong prey drive. It's gotten her into some pretty bad situations up there - enough so that I always travel with a fully stocked first-aid kit - for her, not me. Lol! But on the bright side, she keeps the critters in check!
Aww...thank you so much, Mary! I'm just a bit over an hour north-east of Flat Rock. Wow - it couldn't have been easy to leave TC. It's the prettiest part of our state, in my opinion. No singing for me! I like you guys...I wouldn't put you through that. Sometimes I write lyrics, but not very often these days. I guess I'm an instrumentalist at heart - which is a good thing considering my lack of vocal talent. Lol! Hey, welcome to the 'hood, Mary!!!
Nice tune Chris!! glad to see a video from you!! I love the outdoors and your dulc sounded really great. Are you playing it directly into the Fishman loudbox? Loved seeing your dog too. And I'm in love with your surroundings!! One day I hope to have a more private place to play too...seeing videos like yours gives me hope that one day I will!! (for the last 30 years I've lived in a town house! )
I love it Chris! I was sitting here playing along on my imaginary cajon the whole tune! Don't worry about the takes, just consider it free practice time.
While I love the setting, shooting a video outdoors sure has it’s challenges! I had a cicada who was bound and determined to LOUDLY sing along. I think he finally lost his energy around the16th take. Apparently, persistence pays off. Well… that or the bird that joined in on #15 had a nice breakfast.
Thank you so much, Dean - I greatly appreciate that!
I LOVE hearing original tunes on the dulcimer! Beautiful!
Dean
I understand completely, Mary. Now that you're down here, maybe we can meet up sometime and talk shop...and swap songs, of course!
You are too kind, Helen! Thank you so much!!!

Thanks so much Alaska! I sure appreciate you watching!
Nice groove you got going there. Inspiring--love hearing originals!
I always enjoy your posts and music Christine.
What a nice shot at the end of your sweet house and dog...nice to get to 'know' other members a little like that. :)

Thank you so much Terry and Benjamin. I really appreciate that!
Thank you very much Maria! I'm just glad that the Bobcat wasn't lurking around while I was shooting this one. But I still kept an eye out for it!
Thank you John...I wish you were up here with me playing a real Cajon! Free practice time, huh? I guess I got a lot of that on that particular day.
Hello Christine
Really nice to see you post a video again. Seriously.
Sure enjoyed your song. Thank you for sharing.

Nice jazzy tune you've written.
Thank you very much Lexie and Salt-Springs! I appreciate you two more than you could ever know.
Nice to see you Chris, it is wonderful to play out doors to the trees and birds.
Great song and it is always a wonderful treat to hear you play.
A genuine joy to hear and a great lifter of the spirit............thanks for your work.
