The guitar player & I are tickled you like it, @Dan!
I have a Dulcijo yet haven't been able to spend much time with it. Its sound is that of a little banjo. I'm imagining your build will have more of a "mountain banjo" sound than my Dulcijo. . . I look forward to hearing a recording of your build!
Way cool, Dan. It'd be fun to give her a strum or two!
Thank you Darlin' , I'm getting a local folk musician to do the sound clip on this piece. I can almost play it, but not well enough to record......worked in the shop today and listened to your new CD, Love it!!!!!!
That tailpiece looks familiar--- maybe off of a door frame, perhaps? Good work!
The old folk pieces used up-cycled, re-cycled items they had around. (I don't think they through any thing away!) I got a kick out the striker plate....
