One of my all time favorite tunes from Mark & Robin Thompson, Circleville is Robin's hometown and she is every bit as sweet as the tune.
In the spirit of #PlayMusicOnThePorchDay, I am sending this tune to all and dedicating it to a couple of wonderful players on their porch in Ohio.
This is also the debut of the german scheitholt built for me by Jack Ferguson @Appalachian Flutes & Dulcimers. Another fine musician building instruments for the rest of us porch players.

Dean, thanks for the credit. I love all my dulcimers, scheitholts, and music boxes. Building them is a joy. But, making them sing is what it's all about. And you really make them sing!

I LOVE this tune! I chubbed it in a couple of spots but I'll take a mulligan since I've only had the scheitholt for a couple of weeks - this tune will always be in my set list. It is such an "earworm" as Ariane calls it.
Ordered my nifty PlayMusicOnThePorch Tshirt so I'll be ready next year!
