I think the Hummel"s extra drone strings sound good playing this famous Scottish pipe tune. The words to "Coleman's March" and "McPhearson's Lament" tell very similar stories.
This definitely one of my favorite tunes and love the story that goes along with it. I understand McPhearson was a sort of Robin Hood fellow, depending on which version you read. I love the tone on your instrument and well played. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Incidentally, I was just reading an old article (well, not as old as the song) on the "hanged fiddler" legend and this tune is mentioned as the oldest recorded version of the genre.
