I love your Hummel. When you play it, do you always strum all the strings or do you just hit one now & than?
I wondering when dulcimers have extra drones, what is the best way to play the drones. Say the dulcimer is tune DAA and the drones are set us as a baritone but with a D instead of a E. It is deep and forceful so checking if should strum all the strings or just sometimes all the strings and sometimes just catch one?
Besides this Hummel video I have also made four Bowed Psaltery videos in four keys of this good learner tune on my YouTube channel. I hope folks visit and subscribe!
Sounds great, Gregg.
Thanks for posting. I recently learned this tune. I usually go into Bonnie Tammie (and back). Well played.
Love this! 😀
