Ha ha, Dusty! I meant I'm not giving him lessons--free or otherwise! He's joining me at Dulcimer U this summer (a first for him going to a week-long event!) and will participate in some slow jams, but he's going to be going to Bob Magowan's dulcimer building class where they'll be making a McSpadden from a kit.
Thanks for your comments on my song. It's interesting, but when I listen to this now, it sounds pretty slow to me...it may not be as spritely as I originally thought it was. I was mostly trying to get the notes right! I tend to get nervous and/or mess up just because I've hit the "record" button!
Thanks, Lexie and Robin! Lexie, I had to re-post them after I somehow ended up deleting them by mistake while trying to figure out why these 2 songs will load just fine, but not "Ode to Joy". Still a mystery. And, no I'm not giving my husband free lessons...he hasn't wanted to get that involved with playing the dulcimer!

What a lovely tune! And your playing adds such spirit. I really like this, Jan.
If you ever do give your husband lessons, I sure hope they're free!

Jan, did you re-do these two last audios?
Very well played, I enjoy listening to you.
Are you giving your husband free lessons?
Beautifully played, Jan.
