Tune by Mary MacGowan, poem by James Hogg, a Scottish poet from the 1700s, public domain. Hogg's original poem is titled A Boy's Song. You will see that I've made it more into a girl's song! And, in response to someone's comment, okay it was Ben's, I don't mean that I changed the poem's words, but that just by singing it as a female, it seems to have changed the whole thing!

Hi Marg, yes, DAA. Glad you enjoyed! It's a Blue Lion... I didn't care for the sound when I first got it, but now I just loved it!

I think they call that literary license.  Nicely done.

Thanks Ben... I don't mean that I changed lyrics... it seems that just to have a female singing the poem changes the whole thing!
