I'm glad to hear about your upcoming book, Janene.  I noticed an arrangement of yours in DPN and was wondering if there were more.

Thank you @Ariane

@stephldavis,  A friend (Shawn McCurdy) and I are putting together a tablature book including this song and many traditional songs I've posted here at FOTMD.  We're finishing it up now. Should be ready by the start of the year, available as a download.  I'm so pleased this song has touched you.

Does anyone know where I can find tabs to this song? It reached out and touched my soul. Just beautiful.

Wow, Janene.  That is so weird.  You've come a long way, obviously.  And you sound great now.

I had noticed you weren't singing in your last few videos, and I definitely missed it!  I'm glad to hear your voice once again. flower I assume the surgery went well.

I posted a recording of my voice post surgery on my Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/janene.millen/videos/10219569054917225/

It's been a slow road coming back, but I think I'm being impatient based on others' experiences related to me.

I enjoy the play with words in this song.  The herb Thyme meant as virtue or virginity...Rue, as regret. I am using Dm chord shapes but tuned to C# G# C# in order to comfortably sing it. I'm recovering from thyroid surgery so hadn't been able to vocalize for the last 3 1/2 months.  This is my first, very gentle attempt, and took a lot of concentration :-)

Hopeful it will improve with thyme (no she didn't!)lipssealed .

So if I knocked on your door and asked if I could borrow some of your thyme, you would slap me in the face, I guess.blush

That's beautiful playing and singing, Janene.
