A Welsh folk tune with three sections. In the version published at http://www.alawoncymru.com/alawon/Tunes/Tunesal.html , the third section is much busier and more frantic than my version but I did my best. :-)
Still ticklish after all these years,to paraphrase a Paul Simon song.I have a crackpot theory that we feel music in different parts of our body...this tune gets me in the shoulders, neck and tickles my ears.Randy Adams' music tickles my ears unmercifully(I love it),my own stuff,I often feel it in my stomach...Canadian music,I feel it mostly in my feet and upwards...ballads seem to involve the whole body and the mind but especially the upper body because you are heaving it out of you....long and short, this melody sounds great, has a real zest to it.
You did a fantastic job, Beth-- that right hand would be challenging for anyone!
Thanks Robin! Your comments are always like virtual hugs:-) I’ve also been catching up with your musical offerings - I particularly like Our Foundling.
