Thank you all you good folks on FOTMD for getting me through this build. I'm more relieved it sounds so good and is playable than proud, it's a great kit . I...
Gordon what are you talking about old ladies in the morning? There was that old one the night before and then me Thanks a lot for watching and your kind comments. I need to get busy learning that hymn, got side-tracked with a dulcimer.

Congratulations Cindy...you did it!!!!!!...what a sense of pride and sound of beauty!!!!!..?.
Thank you for your kind words Ken. Everyone I know so far knows I was building it, but it is a joy to play on the one I built. It sounds "new" so I will look forward to this very beautiful walnut mellowing into it's fullness. Someday someone will ask and i will probably break my face grinning as I say, "I built it - from a kit."
Thank goodness for old ladies in the morning and old women in general. You did real good Cynthia, you've got an instrument there that you can be real proud of. I believe that the talent to build fine things with your hands is a special gift and there are many of us that don't have it. I like your doxology touch at the end. Thank you for sharing.
Cynthia, nice playing on a dulcimer you can say you built yourself. And a fine job it is. I live up in Ontario Canada. All the goats here are frozen solid so you don't have to rope them, just gather them up in a cart. Yes it would be fun to get together and do the old rompin' tunes.
Wow Cynthia! I am totally impressed.....Your instrument is beautiful! Your playing is beautiful! Your spirit is beautiful! Thank you for sharing this beautiful video with all of us!
You are sooooo funny, sooooo sweet, soooo fun.............
Wow! Sounds great and your playing is great, too! And now I'M all teary-eyed! Thanks for your kind words and your gift of music to all of us--much appreciated!
Thanks JH, glad it got better with all the strings. This pretty dulcimer debuted last night at the church supper and was well received by all.
Three times better than its first outing !
