Good idea my biggest issue all my life was stability of my pick, it always seemed to spin, slide and mover one way or another whether guitar, mandolin, uke, MD ( i use a very light grip).... however it looks like i could interfere with pick finesse and nimbleness....

I would add that they come in different thicknesses (I recommend the 1mm for the best sound unless you want the percussive attack of a flimsier pick) and are interchangeable so you only have to buy one "holder". 

I was attending a class and a shiny new player was seated next to me. At one point she dropped her pick into the soundhole and she was embarrassed. I told her it 's not a matter of IF but WHEN and that it happens to all of us (well not me anymore  ).

Then I showed her the Pykmax and within 30 seconds she was playing with more confidence. I grabbed one from my case (I bought several so I would NEVER be without one) and gave it to her. Her jaw dropped and she immediately tried to pay me for it. 

It was so worth it to see her face light up! I can't wait to see her next year and see how she progresses!

Thanks Dusty, I ended up checking it out - HA, after I replied. 

I sent the info off to our group leader, last weekend we had 2 outside performances and you would never know Spring is here because it was chilly & some kept loosing their picks. I was thinking something like this may have come in handy.

@Marg, the picks used with this "mini-platform" have a little slit or hole in the top that hooks onto a little piece that slides into the platform.  You cannot use just any old pick with it.  You can find out more at  http://www.pykmax.com/ .

Would something like this work with any of our picks we like, or is it only for the purple pick you are holding? Would be great when our hands get stiff.
