Thank you to everyone. I really think I am going to enjoy this dulcimer and a different way of playing for me. I really like the old time sound. Kevin did a wonderful job on it. Robin (Thompson and Clark) I have enjoyed watching and listening to your videos and they have been an inspiration to me to try this style of playing.
Lovely sound and playing Those dulcimers have such a distinctive sound - I think it is fantastic that Kevin is enabling us to once again hear how a classic early dulcimer sounded.
Gail, sounds great. I think you will enjoy your Prichard repro. I've had mine going on three years and I still love it. I play it more than the others. It really has a nice sustain to it.
Yes Kevin, it's quite a different animal. I can't believe how light in weight it is. When the box came today I couldn't believe there was a dulcimer in it!
Gail ,very nicely done. I think you will get along well with the Prichard. A noter specific dulcimer is a different animal than a modern one ,and sometime difficult for folks to get used to,but, you are off and running.
You are very welcome, Thank you for your trust in having me build it for you. Kevin.
Gail, the Prichard repro looks and sounds awesome. Your playing is great. I know you will enjoy the dulcimer.
Wow Gail I thought you had a video of this fabulous dulcimer.
You play it like a "Sweet wooden thing" with strings"! It is Sweet!
Just one question, Is it "Just Intonation"?
Beautiful Gail, just really beautiful!!!

I am excited for you Gail, you make that Messanger Prichard sweetly sing, just beautiful!
Gail, that is some great playing on a great dulcimer. Does your Prichard replica have perfection pegs, or wooden pegs?
Thank you, James. Those are perfection pegs - thought they would be less frustrating for me to tune!
