Description:

Impromptu trio at Swannanoa Gathering (Traditional Song Week) Janene Millen (PA) on lap dulcimer, Cheryl Tobler (VA) bowed dulcimer, Jim Thomason (TN) guitar. Met Cheryl at a song circle and discovered we were only 2 dulcimers there and common love of Celtic music. Met during a break and played "Hector" together...she invited Jim to join in...who had never heard the song before, and Jim recorded our 3rd time through. Just Fun. Permission granted by all involved.

One of my favourite Scott Skinner melodies.It sounds good anytime but is often played at funerals in Cape Breton,Nova Scotia.Great to hear it!
