Pretty instrument. I have one of Don Neuhausen's "Little Dulcimers" in curly black walnut with ebony fretboard. It is 11.5" long which makes it a challenge to play. But it is fun to bring out and share with friends.
That thing is so adorable! Don't you just want to pinch those little dimples . . . er . . . soundholes? Then again, maybe Strumelia's right: that's a regular size dulcimer andJim is just enormous.
I was just playing my daughter's Eedy Beede octave dulcimer a bit today. It's too small to play without a strap. I understand many people are philosophically oppsed to straps, but it would make it a lot easier to play that little guy.

Apologies for improper thoughts!
I did not have my spectacles to hand and wondered what all this excitement was about
a tiny little THONG!
