John & Karen Keane performing at JavaWerks in Hattiesburg, Mississippi (July, 2014). If you've ever had a cat...you will understand. This is our first live video of this tune for some reason.
I always assumed a cat came with a license to: hork up furballs in the place of their choice, shed dark fur on a light couch, jump into the lap of persons who hate cats, and claim the best seat in the house...
Thanks Ken! This is literally the song that I wrote to learn how to sing and play at the same time a couple of years ago lol. Thanks for the appropriate mention of the gals who had a big part in the process!

Thanks ya'll and a special thanks to Steph for the encouragement and inspiration. I wished the shirts did glow in the dark...then we could have Wendy Songe over for a Wendy Glow. Hee Hee
Well played both of you. I have never owned a cat but thanks for dispelling any subconscious notions that may have been forming at the back of my mind !!
Steph, you are well aware that this was the song that I used to learn how to sing and play at the same time back then, and your encouragement was VERY important! You surely played a part. Ben, while I'm not sure how cats would enjoy it, it's actually supposed to be from the perspective of the cat...so I dunno lol.

I'm sure that if I had my cat, Mr. Tanner, he would not be amused! But he's not here anymore, so har-har! :)
Sound like every cat I have known . Hattiesburg, Mississippi Is that anywhere near Picayune Mississippi? Going to be down that way some time this month.
Thanks y'all! It's just one of our goofy tunes that we love to do (based on our cat "Batman" from years ago). Three years ago, (FOTMD member) Geekling and I decided to write tunes based on this subject matter and this is what I came up with. Cats just HATE change lol.
John and Karen, that is a HOOT! Being a cat owner myself, I can sure identify. You get 'em cause you need them to catch mice and they kinda grow on you. Thanks for the performance.
Y'all are too kind lol! Real story...real cat. Geekling inspired me to put it to paper and music. They tend to have their ways!

What a hoot! Great to hear a song about a cat! John, you do a real good job on that hairball- horking song.
And koodoos to Karen and Steph for their hand in it.
Present in a big and fun way!

Thanks Steve! They're fun, but particular lol.

Thanks Helen and Patty! I don't think that the shirts glow in the dark...must be the lighting lol.
You all did great as usual!!! BTW, are those shirts glow in the dark? Just curious

Phil, I think that Picayune is a short trip from Hattiesburg. There are some great folks around there. We appreciate you takin' a look!
