Thanks for all the comments, folks. It was a great show by a great musician. I wish I'd have taken a picture of his 70s Jim Good. It's the only instrument he's used. There is absolutely no finish on the lower bass bout. Looks like it may be warping too. The strum hollow has been removed and it's been refretted 3 times, the last time with a new fingerboard and frets. It looks as bad as Willie's Trigger, but it sure sounds sweet.

It's always a real treat to meet an artist that you like and hold in high regard. I've been lucky that most of the ones I've met have always been pretty nice people. It's a real drag when one isn't. Makes you want to never listen to them again.
