Description:

I wrote this melody for a dear friend of mine who is lost in the mists of Alzheimer's. I recorded it on my iPhone, then played it back on my laptop so that I could play a harmony line to it while the iPhone recorded the combination. Not the best recording quality, but not too bad I hope.

What a lovely way to honor your beloved friend, Beth.

Congratulations on a lovely melody.It has what I call the "de-compression" effect-slow down,take a deep breath,smell the roses..

I'm so glad it has that effect on you 😁. I'll be posting a video recording of it soon, together with another tune I've written. One good thing I've discovered about writing your own stuff is that you can make sure that you can reach the notes!
