Hi @Jim-Yates. When my daughter was young, she loved to both play and watch me play our limberjacks. This one was given to me by someone at a dulcimer festival to whom I had lent an instrument the year before. He waited a full year to thank me! I also have one in the shape of a dog that I got on Etsy that can have all four legs dancing.
I love this one. Do you make much use of it?
When I played my old lumberjack for a friend, she wanted one too. then I said the same thing, "oh, you can find them on the internet". We both looked for 3 days. no luck on anything cute so I just decided that I'd make one for her. someone else saw it, then I've made many and love making those little dolls. Many have been decorated so cute. I didn't have a patter, I just drew out a paper pattern from the one that I had. aloha, irene

Love the Limberjill. I have been trying to get hold of a limberjack or limberjill for some time but can't seem to find a place to order one from that ships to Canada. It can be unpainted, as my wife can "doll" it up.
