Mt. Lemmon rises 6000 ft. on the north side of Tucson, Arizona. Huge temperature difference! It was in the 90's when we started the drive up and there was lots of snow at the ski runs up top. The drive is 25 miles of hairpin turns on a 2 lane road that offers beautiful views and a constantly changing scenery as the plants and geography change as you ascend (Saguaro cacti only grow at a specific altitude, for example, so sometimes you're below the cacti and sometime above the cacti). Our "adventure" was making it to the top and eating at the restaurant before heading back down!
