I learned to play first of all at a local dulcimer group, but then I went to classes at several regional and national festivals. I must say that I learned a great deal about technique from Stephen Seifert. My song selections and playing style grow from the music that I love. :-)

A nice arrangement very well played!

In 1793 James Johnson put the well known tune to words [collected by Burns] when he first published the song and is the tune used as the Korean National anthem.

This is a link to a slightly older variant of the song and tune performed by a bunch of young Scottish Musicians
