Written and performed by John & Karen Keane on mountain dulcimer (Karen) and percussion (John). Filmed in Shreveport, LA (12/23/13). Nature really cooperated with us that day.

Thanks so much Randy and Steph.Ha, ha Randy...it is definitely a collaborative effort, but he plays better percussion than I do. LOL. It is on our new CD, Moonburn. We do love the creative process, Steph...I think we both enjoy that more than anything else.
Thanks a bunch Randy and Steph! This one is indeed on the new "Moonburn" CD. Just so y'all know, Karen allowed me to play dulcimer on a few of the tunes. We just like seeing what we can come up with. Writing original stuff is a big deal to us...we really enjoy the creative process. We really appreciate y'all takin' a look and listen!
This is my favorite tune you guys have done. That's some incredible noise you're making JK.....fits so perfectly. Karen won't let you play the dulcimer with her anymore huh?.. ha!....beautiful playing Karen....f'sure...

Thanks Nila and Helen, we appreciate those kind words a bunch! Helen, Karen is playing the dulcimer on this one and I'm playing everything else (not all at once, but in separate tracks). We're so happy that y'all enjoyed it!

Thanks Ken and Benjamin. We have truly loved exploring the sounds of this beautiful instrument and are just really following our heart. It has been a wonderful adventure!!
Karen, I would love to play with you and John someday. Unfortunately, between work and family, I don't know when I'll be able to sneak away. Maybe we can meet up at a dulcimer festival.

Far out! Too f*ing cool. Seriously fun, artistically adept.
You should get a Golden Globe, or at least a Golden Dulcimer.

I love the way you two have taken the dulcimer to places the "old folks" would not have dreamed of. Very creative!
Thanks Carrie, it sure was a fun day.
