HMS Folk Strings: Spotted Pony

musician/member name: Music
Duration: 00:02:08
description:
Here's a version of "Spotted Pony" that the HMS Folk Strings recorded back in March just one week before we were sent home due to the pandemic. We were just getting ready to take the show on the road around the community, but fate was what it was. We only just became aware that there was video of this tune. I will miss the folks who have moved on to high school, but the new edition is larger and coming along nicely under the circumstances.

That's so cool, John!  Kudos to you and the work you've been doing.  They steady rhythm of all those right hands just puts a smile on my face.  Those kids are on it!  Yeah!

Thanks John. Very enjoyable.  I am just learning this song and so it was doubly fun to watch.

Thanks Jim!  I just hate that we didn't get to finish the school year.  The current version of the group has almost doubled for this school year, so we are looking forward to bigger and better things (though staying spread out for social distancing creates some unique obstacles from time to time).
