Hey Dusty and thanks. I would so love to take credit for that, but my uber talented husband (and extrodinary tuba player) wrote the moving bass line for the song. It is a very fun song part to play and when we play this song at jams or even together, I find myself going back to it as well. I know what you mean about having it stuck in your head. Have fun at the jam!

Hey guys, it was a long time ago that you posted this, but it has stuck in my head. I started rehearsing the 40 or so dulcimer jam tunes that I listed for a jam I will be hosting later this month, and whenever I played this song I started changing the end of the verse. I couldn't figure out where it was coming from, but then it hit me: Karen's bass! That descending bass line at the end of each verse has stuck in my head and now it seems like an obligatory part of the song.

Karen, you've created an arrangement of this song that is so salient it's now part of my permanent understanding of the song.

I don't know the tune, so I can't really use that to judge it. I'll just have to judge it on the amount I enjoyed it. And so, you all won the blue ribbon. Really fun bounce to it.
