A fun afternoon at Linda Brockinton's home in Arkansas as we traveled back to Louisiana from the 2013 Indiana Dulcimer Festival. Yes, Linda is using a PICK!

I was so glad to get out of the car after that long drive. This was such a welcomed relief. Linda sho' can play! LOL
Thanks Chuck! The Indiana festival is put together really well...you would love it. You're right about LB...wouldn't trade her for nothin'!

How cool is that!? Awesome job and you guys keep some good company. Linda's such a great person and teacher. I really want to make it to the Indiana Festival some time.
Thanks Rob, we had a wonderful time. The Indiana Dulcimer Festival is a top-notch event, and the gang at Folkcraft go WAY out of their way to make sure that everyone is taken care of. They are just quality folks.
Thanks Rob! We did run it in sections as she showed it to us to make sure that we knew it before we turned the camera on lol! I think we had done around 1,000 miles between that day and the day before at that point, so we were pretty ready to get out of the car!
That was really great, y'all. You could have said you rehearsed it and I'd have believed it. Also sounds like coffee or other caffeinated beverage could have been involved in the making of this video.

Thanks all. Sorry I'm a little slow, but been busy with unpacking, washing, and restocking the pantry....and oh yeah a nap! LOL. Thanks for such a great visit and a great get out of the car stop over. Linda sure an play and it was my pleasure to learn this one from her.
Thanks Mike, we appreciate you checkin' it out! The RARE thing here is that Linda is using a pick. She is GREAT with a pick, but many folks just don't know it.
CB...this may be true. It was great to be able to spend some time visiting and playing. Linda told us what she was going to play, told me what would be neat for me to play (that's when I started messin' with it a little), and after telling Karen a couple of things, she looked back at me and remarked that "he's just going to play whatever" lol! It was a grand time.
Thanks CB LOL! I'm certainly glad that no coffee was wasted in the watching of this video! It really was a fun afternoon, and fun is what it is all about. We are looking forward to seeing you VERY soon!
LB...we will try our best! Good times!

Naw...she ain't right lol! She can play the mess out of a dulcimer, but she ain't right!
Thanks Guy...it IS pretty catchy. It's kinda neat how it is actually supposed to speed up in the B section. It makes for a nice hook.
You all sound great. I LOVE that tune.
Guy, she was "picky" indeed lol! We really appreciated her passing this tune along to us.
Wow! Linda getting all picky on us!!! Love this!!!

Thanks James! I can't answer the question, but trust me when I tell you that she knows what to do with it!
Nice playing! And Linda using a pick! What is the world coming to?

Ah, John, you're a young man; that much driving shouldn't have bothered you. I used to do that all the time! Hope y'all had a great time in Indiana.
