Tom thank you so much for your very thoughtful and generous donation to keep FOTMD up and running. You are so kind!
Hey Tom. I was just for some reason at the Wartz event I posted and just saw your name there. I'm glad to see that you are planning to come to my neck of the woods again. It'll be good to see and talk to you again.
Hi, Tom!
Yes, the loop is a very intriguing tool but pay attention it is addictive :)
Very useful when you have to study something while you play alone.
A lot of interesting videos here. I think I'll be back soon.
Thanks for passing by
G.
Congratulations on the new job, Tom! More airport and stairwell strumming for you. :)I'm glad Sweetie adopted y'all. RIP, Frankie.
Tom, thanks for adding me as a friend. I will ask my husband if he has any relatives in kentucky. Holthus is not a very common name. Most of his relatives are in Nebraska.
(Dead URL) http://www.artfact.com/auction-lot/1914-15-star-and-victory-medal-to-private-peter-w-303-c-b80cccee7a/a> Tom is this what your looking for?
Hey Tom, it'll take us almost 5 hrs to get there. What time will you be there so wee can plan on meeting up with you?
Hey Tom, Jerry Rockwell's doing a noter class on Saturday the 11th at Salem!
Tom, Though I live in Fairmont now, I'm from Oklahoma. That is the weekend of the Fort New Salem Dulcimer Festival in Salem, just east of Clarksburg (south of Fairmont 15 miles.) Was planning to attend that, but would be free after for a little jamming!
Rob
Hey Tom that was really nice. I enjoyed hearing The Rose in a different key.
Hi Tom , I am new to this site (well since July 2011) I noticed that you were considering glass fibre to reinforce one of your cases.- Good Idea . Did you do it ?
You will see on my site 2 photos of the case I sort of built myself. I intend to put up as a blog (shortly when I have checked the spelling and grammar )how my case came about. You never know may be helpful to someone. Only down side is the weight. I now have one arm longer than the other
Thanks Tom. Definitel does help. I'll learn on guitar first, then dulcimer. jack
Hi Tom, Did you damage the road? Can you still play the ducimer? Is the bike OK? Did your grandson laugh? And oh, I hope that you are Ok.sincere regards,JohnH
TomI'm sorry to have missed yesterday's meeting also. I came down with some kind of stomach flu on Friday morning and haven't been able to do anything all weekend. My granddaughter had it also and missed school Friday, so I think it was something going around. The timing for me was lousy because I really wanted to be there.I think yesterday's session lead by June Goforth was to have a little different format than the regular club meetings. June was present when the club originated in 1989, so she is one of the club's matriarchs and I always appreciate her contributions at club meetings.I may be out of town for the March club meeting but I'm hoping to be able to attend more club meetings the rest of this year. I would like to try to present a DAA noter-playing workshop and/or an Aeolian Mode or Dorian Mode song workshop just to present a break from the DAD norm. We'll see what the future holds after March.ThanksDaveDelete Comment
Hi, Tom...I want to be sure we connect at the OVG next weekend. I won't be able to be in your class - I'm scheduled at the same time in another room! I will have most of the rest of the time clear and I hope to talk to you about several ideas. First - I love the material you choose. All are personal favorites of mine....Leonard Cohen, Dylan. I also thought the production on the videos had some of the best sound I have heard....very clear and it actually sounded like a dulcimer! I want to talk to you about the software you mentioned here....as well as a few other things. Anyway, find me at OVG. I'm the one with the verrrryyy long white hair! See you there!
welcome Tom.. glad ya joined the family...
