Black Walnut and Butternut (#120)

musician/member name: People & Blogs
Duration: 00:02:38
I completed building this Mountain Dulcimer today ( Jan. 31, 2021) It is Number 120. This instrument is made of Black Walnut with a Butternut wood soundboard. The vsl is 26"
It has a Diatonic Scale with three strings, and includes the 1.5, 6.5, 8.5 and 13.5 frets. The fingerboard has position dots as well as an inlay strip. This instrument certainly has the characteristically beautiful, mellow tone of the Butternut/Black Walnut combination with lovely reverberation.

Nice sounding dulcimer, Bob.  And a beautiful rendition of Fanny Power.
