An experiment in layering with the "Pachelbel Canon" and "The First Noel" on a Folkcraft courting dulcimer. Performed by John & Karen Keane in December of 2014.
Karen and John, I missed this last year as well. Maybe because I had just joined FOTMD.
Amazing- beautiful - inspiring - a joy and pleasure to listen to! Such wonderful music you have made together.

Thanks so Brian, Cindy and Sam. John and I love playing the dulcimer and making music together. We are so lucky to be able to play together. I know a lot of people don't have a built in partner...and it is our pleasure to share this with others. Hugs to you all!
Wow Sam...thank you so much! We just love playing the dulcimer and helping others to love it too. We appreciate your extremely generous words very much.
John, you and Miss Karen have crossed over the boundary of choosing a note, picking the string and knowing the sound that your dulcimers will make. That response from your instrument is your reward for the practice, study and devotion. My mystery is not yours, your mystique is not mine. As always, thank you both so much for sharing.
I'm not sure how this could've been posted over a year ago and I never managed to see/hear it until now, but I'm glad I finally did! Very pretty pairing, and I enjoyed it very much. :)
