Thanks Marc, the flute that I am playing in this video is a high spirits Kestral double drone. You can overblow this drone, but it will only sound an octave higher. This happens in the video ataround 40 seconds, 1:45, 2:00 and at the 2:30 minute mark. The rest of the time, I am either playing with no drone or the low drone only. Thanks Terry, we appreciate you listening.
Thanks Marc! The drone pitch on this one is fixed (except that you can overblow to the next octave higher, but it's still a "D"). We have triple flutes that have changeable drones (and even changeable notes on the drone sides). The skill set goes up quite a bit with a triple.

Thanks Nila, that would be cool for you to get some flutes. They are so fun to play and sound awesome with the dulcimer. Happy New Year to you as well.
Nila, we thank you a bunch and wish you a happy new year as well! The Native American flute is a fun instrument for sure. I think that you would enjoy it!
Could you two slow down? I can come up with a mediocre song about once a month. You guys crank out stellar stuff on an hourly basis! Leave some creativity for the rest of us!
Seriously, though, this is nice stuff. I love the way you bend those notes on the flute, Karen!
By the way, a few gift cards came to me recentlyso I have a Fishman Loudbox Mini on its way. I may be hitting you up for tips.

Thanks Steph...the journey is a bunch of fun! In case I haven't mentioned it in a day or two, we are SO proud of you and your progress. You are truly amazing!
Thanks Brian, we really appreciate that!
Not sure how I missed this one, but I'm glad I caught it now. Really, really nice!
Cindy, thank you so much!
This is soooo beautiful!
