We combined a dulcimer jam with a flute circle and ended up with a bunch of fun! With (L to R) Linda Brockinton, Karen Keane, and John Keane. Something like this might be fun for some of y'all to try!
Thanks Mary! I think that we sometimes get so bogged down with terminology and such that we fail to just sit down and play the things for the sake of playing. Adding family and friends just makes it better (and more fun).
Thanks Bel! We are all playing B minor Native American flutes. Linda and Karen are playing ones made by High Spirits, and I'm playing one by Dana Ross (Falcon Flutes).

We love you too Randy! Hugs
I'm so happy you guys are friends and are hanging out and playing the tunes. You are all precious to me.
Yeah you guys deserve each other... : )....

Thanks Helen, Maryann and Cindy, we appreciate it very much. Helen, just rare back and blow. LOL The tone will improve with a bit more air.
Thanks very much Cindy! The fun is the key. I think that we sometimes get too bogged down and over-analyze things to the expense of the fun that playing music offers. Sometimes it's best to just hop in without sticking the toe in the water.

Thank y'all very much for the kind words...we SO appreciate them! Helen, the tune was created just for this little gathering. I threw some changes together for the dulcimers and everyone did improvisation on the flutes.

Now that's what I am talking about! Whew! That was beautiful. This is one that has to be listened to more than once. Thanks for sharing. This brought a WOW smile to my face.
