The results of a resolution for the new year (2016)...John Keane FINALLY starts learning how to play the hammered dulcimer that he purchased almost three years ago. Karen Keane provides the accompaniment on mountain dulcimer.
Thanks so much for the encouraging comments! We just try to have fun doing what we do. After 35 months as a piece of furniture, I like the HD much better as an instrument lol! Yes Ken, Karen is trying something new as well (blue/black). We appreciate y'all VERY much!
Good Job!!, Very nice playing there to both you!!
Thanks you guys...and yes Ken...I do like to change my hair color now and again...I think it is mostly grey by now! LOL

Thank y'all so much! Like anything, it's a process, but it's a really fun process. Patty, percussion skills actually do help a bunch!
That's just wonderful!!!
Awesome!!! Of course I would think a hammered dulcimer would be a natural fit for a percussion person
Very nice guys. I like that you are learning the hammered dulcimer John, have fun with it!
