Thanks Ron! The slide is a lightweight Dunlop slide (210). With a light touch, you can get a nice slide effect on a regular dulcimer. The strings were adjusted to a normal playing height for this demo.
Thanks Dusty! Sorry, but I've been a Cowboys fan since birth lol. I think that this is an instrument that people would really enjoy, but many folks don't know that they exist. I know that there are a few different "brands" out there for folks to choose from, but I happened to choose this one and haven't regretted it one bit. Thanks for the nice comments, and Percy says "hey" to you!
That's a cool-sounding instrument. I could easily see it playing the role of slide guitar for bluesy stuff or a dobro for bluegrass. And I love the syncopation on the first version of Spotted Pony.
I won't comment on the evil Cowboys shirt, but I will say that Percy looks like he could use a glass of Miracle Gro.
Thanks for sharing this. Now I have another dulcimer on my wish list.
Thanks Wayne...so glad that you got to hear one in person. They are pretty nice sounding. Steph...your comments and wit are appreciated as always. Percy sends his best. He would have sent you a message himself, but he's still standing where he was lol.
Thanks Steven...the Broncos seem to be on the way back up!

Thanks Mike! It does indeed, but the sound on my camera stinks so I have to plug in to get any "low" sound at all.
