Thanks Rob and Steph...Merry Christmas to y'all! It's really hard to describe the sound, but it's basically a guitar volume with a dulcimer sound. I'm glad to hear that "Geekling's Test Drive" has begun! We (of course) want a full report!

Thanks CB! I think that Folkcraft TOTALLY hit a home run with this instrument. I've never played a dulcimer with this kind of voice. I know the tune is goofy , but I wanted folks to have a chance to hear what this thing sounds like solo. I'm truly amazed, and add to that the fact that it sounds BETTER in person (rather than recorded on a cheap camera). It's a special dulcimer and I'm lucky to have it.
