Thanks Lesley! It's hard to believe that nearly a year has passed since that day. My wife (Karen) and I are looking forward to playing some shows and recording a bit with Bing in about a week. We have a blast every time we get together.
Thanks Shelley! It is always a fantastic day when Bing comes to play! Thanks so much for checkin' it out, and welcome once again to the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer family!

I agree John. Bing is a cool soul and it is a great experience to play music with someone that is so talented and giving!
Thanks Cindi & BG! You just can't help but get better when you play with someone like Bing...it's an incredible experience. Karen and I treasure our friendship and appreciate him tremendously when he makes room in his schedule to spend a day or two just hangin' out and playin' some tunes.
Thanks Helen! Bing's pretty awesome! Karen and I both would love to do something like that with Bing one of these days. Right now, he is knee deep in his new CD "Dive" and trying to get it finished (he's been working on it for five years). If he ever decides that he wants to do something like that, we would be honored to participate.
Thanks a bunch y'all! Dusty, that left foot is only a 9 1/2, so I think that you are safe lol! It's funny, but I learned "Spotted Pony" from a Bing video as well (insert British accent here). I totally get what you mean. It is always special when Bing comes to visit, and we appreciate him more than words can describe. Even if you were to take the dulcimer out of the mix, he would still be a dear and treasured friend whom we love having around.
It doesn't get much more fun than that, does it! Great job, John. This is really cool for me to see in part because two of those tunes were among the first I learned on the dulcimer, all from videos by Bing.
But I have to say, the camera angle makes your left foot look HUGE! If you ever kick me, please use your right foot.
I sure can't wait!!!

Thanks Nila, it was really a great day. Don't sell yourself short...you are playing very well these days!
Thanks Frank! You are putting up some pretty fun sounding stuff yourself! I hope to run into you sometime down the road!
Thanks Karen & Steph...it was one of those days that you look forward to, and then realize that it ended WAY too fast.
Ditto John. Bing is a great guy and boy can he play the dulcimer. I'm proud of you John!
