Thanks Helen, Miriam, and Rob for listening. True Dat, John. The best thing about music is there are numerous combinations of instruments, lots of styles, and plenty enough for everyone to go around. It sure is fun!!!!
Miriam and Rob, we thank y'all very much for takin' a listen! We tend to have a good time! The one message that we like to share with everyone is that this stuff is 100% about fun for us. We love to experiment with different things just to see what will happen (and sometimes things just don't work lol). So many tunings, styles, and combinations are out there that we can't just do one thing for too long before we want to try something else. The dulcimer journey has too many roads for us to stay on "Main Street" all of the time!
Thanks so much Helen! That's a sweet thing to say!

Thanks Gayle, it was fun! I can't wait to come up with some new stuff. This has been a great combination to experiment with.
Thanks Wayne and Scott! Whenever we've played blues in our "other lives" we just call a key lol. It's important to note that to play blues on the Native American flute, the key of the flute is VERY important. A dulcimer (or guitar or whatever) playing blues in D requires a D minor flute to work properly (blues in A requires an A minor flute, etc.). Normally (for regular stuff) the flute would be the relative minor to the key that the other instrument is playing in (dulcimer in D equals a B minor flute), so the blues works a tad different. Thanks for the kind words and hugs back!
Wow. Got a winning combo there guys.
Thanks Mary! We really appreciate that!
Thanks Scott! We appreciate you checkin' it out!
That was different. I really like it!
Thanks Nancy! We just love how the two instruments seem to go so well with each other!
Thanks LB! We are having a great time so far! Looking forward to getting together very soon!
