Hi Kevin, I picked the Tignor repro today; its now safe and sound so thank you. I have to say I was surprised how 'petite' it is compared to my Red Kite even though the VSL's are the same. So slim in the waste yet beautifully balanced with a 'silvery' sound that evokes that 'old world' feel, just love it. Thank you for the hand written note and I appreciate the effort you put into your craft; no worries about fretboard height I use half of a spring loaded clothes peg as a noter, they belonged to my late mother-in-law and are around 60 yrs old. I'll post some pics soon and when able a sound clip.
Well, Kevin, I like what Bob Mize told John Huron when John asked him if he ever demonstrated his (Bob's) dulcimers. Bob told John something like "In this shop, we're concerned with production, not performance."
I lean more towards building than playing, though I do play somewhat (in the older styles, though), and older tuning patterns.

Thanks John, and Randy. I have been practicing a bit, figured if I going to build em I better play em.

Great job on the dulcimer and the tune, Kevin.
It sounds just fine.
Thanks Rob, It helps getting to play with good players.
Kevin, you need to stop saying you "can't play." That was very good. Oh, and that Tignor repro sounded great as well!
Thanks everyone for the comments, it means a lot to hear your thoughts. Richard it will be on it's way come Monday morning.
