August's Dulcimer is completed, and now ready for the strings and adjustments of the nut and the floating bridge.
This has been a fun project- I think a 3 string version is coming up.
Hi Dusty, Yes I just love the design of the soundholes as well. The wood overlay is a Central American hardwood called Chakte Vega. It's quite oily so it took some care in preping it for mounting. But it has a nice soft look and feel to it.
