Double Bottom Cherry, number 116

description:
I finished building this Mountain Dulcimer (Number 116) this week. Here is a little sound sample of it. It has an amazing base and crisp highs as well. The whole instrument resonates with beautiful sound.

(A double-bottom allows for more vibration and therefore more volume and sustain)

Dusty Turtle:

That dulcimer has a beautiful, bright tone.  And what a haunting tune.  Surely only an expert luthier winker could make such an instrument.

Thanks Dusty! The tune was my take on "Star of County Down". I like the strong base on this one, and think it could even be a nice baritone. The owner might like trying that out as well.

I sure do love making these Luthies giggle2
