I have no way of creating a soundfile on my computer, but I can try to describe it for you. It doesn'thave the best quality sound, but then it never was a really high-quality dulcimer. That's why I didn't feel bad about sawing it in half. This was an experiment that succeeded the first time, to my delight. The dulcimer sounds the same now as it did before "the operation". Apparently this was a first attempt by somebody to make a dulcimer the way it was described in "The Golden Book of Colonial Crafts". I bought the dulcimer on eBay for a pittance a few years ago.
Question: So, what's in the box?
Answer: Oh, just the tools of my trade.
Interesting concept tho

I would certainly enjoy hearing the folding dulcimer.
