Hi Bill, Record shooting plane purchased circa 1950/1. We used to CARRY a wooden suitcase type tool box containing it, a jack and a smoothing plane, rip, panel, and tenon saws, a couple of dozen assorted chisels, oilstones for sharpening, various squares and gauges, belly brace, wheel brace with associated bits. Not just around the site, but from job to job!!! No wonder that I and many like me have arthritic shoulders, elbows etc.JohnH
