Thanks Val, it was for you ! Bobby, I guess like a lot of people I play smoother when I am not trying to make a recording, but for what it's worth, I set great store by ensuring that I build in at least a 1" deep finger board, that my fret ends are properly splayed off with all sharp edges removed. I use a heavier string at the melody than is often found , and my string height is a tad higher than many people would like (tho' not high enough for one J... S...!). I suspect that other more established players in the noter drone style all have opinions on how their instrument should be set up to produce the best for them, but the above points are 'me basics' for a smoother noter run.
Bobby, I get really crippling calf cramps since my 'excitement' of last Christmas, I do try and ensure calcium intake, (and just one of those bits of confusing medical advice that often comes 'yer way), on the advice of me Doc. I have started to take more salt that I used to???
That is such a pretty song and you play it very well, John. Well done.
Cheers Brian, comment much appreciated !

Hi John! Very nice job on a great tune. I agree with Bobby below; I love the relaxed way you've played this. Very nice.

Very smooth...I like the leather pick on this. I'm still pretty sure that's my chair.
