My girl is a natural with horses, she is doing very well with lil' Filly and her Mom knows lots of training and is teaching her and I well. It is a slow methodical process for filly and girly, I know I have learned alot from just the short feeding times I have been with them.
Oh Robin, you might say I am my girly's other parent, but I didn't buy the filly for my girl, it is a gift from her Mom and her boyfriend. I have been apart of this family sense Alysha was born, so I do lots of supporting and loving.
Oh it is fascinating and fun watching Alysha and her Mom with the filly, I will learn much more about training and am going to love watching Alysha's horse grow and bond with her.
Already they have the filly all gentaled and trusting of Alysha, it is going to be a fun adventure. Right now it is very cold to be doing too much out there.
What can an Auntie say but, I love being with my two lil' Filly's!
Lisa, it is usually 2-3 yrs before the horses knees set before riding, but that gives you time for bonding and trust, lots of ground work to get little filly working well. I am praying that Alysha gets lots of guidence from her family, Auntie Lex has never prepared a baby.
It is exciting and fun for little girl and I will try to give as much support as I can in her adventure.

A quarter of a horse ?... Two very lucky girls... Robert.
Oh my gosh...a girl's dream come true!
How long will it be before the baby is big enough to ride? Lots of work and patience ahead in training her...
My Lil' Girly's Christmas gift, she named her Diamond, a Quarter Horse about 7 months old.
