Hi chuck. Yes I wrote it last year but never named it or tabbed it. New chord shape I learned watching Sarah playing Chattanooga Choo Choo last yr at DVille . The chords have A really dreamy, thoughtful, reflective sound , tho it took me awhile to fig out what chords went well with them. Glad you like it. See you soon. Who you bringing this year??? Missed your niece I think it was, last yr.
Thanks for sharing this, Linda. Your playing is a gift to all of us. And you've written quite a beautiful song.

On rainy day I did have a pickup . I was also playing a baritone that was restrung with reg strings. I don't like the heavy wound strings as they have a zippy sound. Also it was tuned lower to BF#B.on the waltz I wasnt amped just reg Dulcimer in DAD. I live the sweet mellow sound of the fingerpicking. But if you are new you'll find that style to be in the minority tho growing.
I love your playing, especially that fingerpicking

Yes it is a harp. I'm just learning-fun. I have a lap harp but just got the bigger one.I had given someone those two waltzes and they wanted a recording but my video said it was too long to mail so I had to put it on you tube. So while I was doing it I decided to go ahead and post them here. I had been wanting to record the other song so just did it all.

I've never heard this before Linda. Is this one of your songs? It's beautiful!

Linda, that's pretty too. You've been cranking them out. By the way, is that a harp sitting next to you?
That was just beautiful!
Yep...hearing these through the speakers as opposed to over the phone is very impressive...just awesome!
